E.C.O FARMER’S MARKET

The Environmental Conservation Organization (formerly the National Association of Environmental Professionals), a student organization at Texas State, is collaborating with Edible San Marcos to organize four spring farmers markets at Texas State starting in February 2011.

According to ECO, “All vendors are from within a 250-mile radius and participate in organic and/or sustainable practices.”

Go Local San Marcos will have a booth at each market from 3-6pm in front of the LBJ Student Center every 1st Wednesday of the month thru May. Come out to learn more about how Go Local can help you, your community and your church group or student organization. Go Local partners, Little Shoppe of Health and Rhae’s Ice Cream will also have booths as well.
