Within days of signing up for Go Local, I had several Go Local cards presented to me. A couple people out of that group told me that once they saw that we Go Local, they just had to come in and show their support. It led into half-hour conversations with my customers about the importance of supporting local businesses. The Go Local movement and affiliation helped me make a real connection with my customers, and has made me be more aware of my own personal spending habits. I find myself going out of my way to ensure I support a local businesses. Go Local makes it easy to identify local businesses and gives me perks when I support them — if the feeling I get from doing so isn’t enough!

As a user: The Go Local card paid for itself the first time I used it. My family and I went to the Alamo Drafthouse to catch a flick and saved enough on our food order alone to cover the cost of the card. Now, I have a whole year of cost-free savings ahead of me, all while supporting my favorite local businesses.

I bought my current Go Local card from LASA High School PTA and it has paid for itself many times over. This is my second year to use a Go Local card. It will be nice to have a second card on hand that I can loan out to the hubby or kids. Many thanks!

I love the Go Local card! I started planning my day around places I can save money. I think it paid for itself in the first month in cupcakes alone from Quack’s and Hey! Cupcake. I’ve discovered lots of new places with it and it’s a constant reminder that local is better in so many ways. I just want to thank you again for providing such a great fundraiser for our school. I was impressed at how easy the fundraiser was to start up and maintain. Even though we didn't advertise as much as we could have and our fundraising time was cut in half, we still made a lot of money for our technology dept.
